Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Dubai for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly financial statements. The role involves ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and accounting standards, maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and monitoring cash flows. Additional tasks include preparing management reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring timely settlement of COD (Cash on Delivery) accounts. Some work from home may be acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting regulations

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Fluency in English and Arabic
